 About MAP

Established in 2003, MAP is the only statewide 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Massachusetts dedicated to expanding afterschool and extended learning opportunities for school-age children, youth, families and communities.

 

MAP works to improve the lives of young people through:

  • Statewide policy development

  • Local grassroots networks

  • Education and advocacy

  • Strategic public-private partnerships

We also provide resources for programs and families statewide including:

  • Information and technical assistance

  • Networking

  • Advocacy support

  • Peer-to-peer support
